you wished for ...Obsession

So... I might be watching too many movies, but y'all gotta stop hyperbolizing everything because then you expect to watch some good shit and you're left being like... sorry, what?

It's not that it wasn't a good movie, but it wasn't as crazy good as people are trying to make it out to be. I mean... guy gets a wish, wish turns into a curse. It's not the first movie to do that. At this point, he should have fucking known, lol. Be careful what you wish for? Anyway. I did like it. Michael Johnston does a really good job (he's gonna be huge, I feel). But why wait until the end of the movie to be like, "Shit, maybe I can have someone make another wish and save this bitch?" The "bitch" being him, lol. I kept thinking that the entire movie, lol. This could have been a great thriller if, say, while he was crushing over her, he finds out that she is actually the one obsessing like crazy over him (no need for a wish) and etc., etc.

I used to watch a lot of horror movies as a teen—like, A LOT—so I don't get impressed much with new horror, since it's all the same thing over and over, and they overflow the story with blood and gore rather than tell a good story. BUT this one had a lot of interesting and abrupt moments that take you by surprise. Would I recommend it? Definitely! Is this the best movie I have ever seen in years, like internet people are claiming it to be, lol? No.

Ps. ALSO: He didn't wish for her to be obsessed over him, but to LOVE him so...screenwriteeeeer explain lol
