Ohhhhhh! I loved this movie! At first it was kinda dragging and it is 2 hours and a half buuuut it ended up being really good! Pretty simple story: Earth is in danger, Earth die, guy save Earth, guy silly, guy meet alien, guy save Earth. Yeaaah! We’ve seen this similar synopsis 100 times. It got Armageddon, it got Interstellar, it got The Martian, fuck even Cast Away, but yet it stands on its own. Rocky the alien is funny af and asks all the right questions like – How do you know when the hug is done? Awwwww! 

Sandra Huller – perfect cast. Ryan Gosling, well… he’s Ryan Gosling and… you gotta understand it’s literally a one-man two-hour movie (the rest of the cast makes about 30 minutes) so for me to say it was good, you know it was good. 

Also I love sci-fi so… if you’re not into that, take it into consideration. Great writing as well. Funny dialogue at the right times. You might even shed a tear. Crowd-pleasing for sure.

Man I’m so happy it didn’t disappoint.
