my Eurovision favorites
So... this year I’m so excited to see girls rockin’ it like never before. Is rock/pop-rock back? I hope so, ’cause I effin’ love girl rock bands! They are everything! Maybe Charli XCX was right.
So... this year Finland seems to be everyone’s favorite — unfortunately, not mine. I just don’t get it and think it’s doin too much and all over the place. Love the violin, but not enough to get my vote.
Here’s a list of my favorites so far, ’cause depending on their live performance, everything can change, but... here we go.
Luxemburg: Great song, shaky performance. This could do so well on the radio.
Cyprus: Ok sooo...I use Jalla so often in a sarcastic way, so u know I be already a fan. It is very generic and there's nothing original about this song but that's why it is so good lol. Would I dance to this? Fuck yeah! And is done so well so...Fave!
Norway: great song, great performance, great vocals.
Australia: Not Austria, Australia. lol Yes it is in furthest corner of Europe. UK bought them long ago so we claimin it. Effin colonizers I know lol Great power-dance balad. Could have been better but still good.
Israel: Yes it is in Europe also. Next to Mediterrean sea. You think u know Europe...u do not. this reminds me of "Milim" by Harel Skaat, that I LOOOVE, but not as good. Fuck he got me confused. He is actually singing in three languages. Bruh we get it you're a polyglot. This is Europe, everybody speaks like three languages - not the flex u think it is lol.
Montenegro: Loving this turbo dance pop mess. Luvin the video even more.
Estonia: EVERYTHING! My favorite! I did not expect Estonia to come at me like this. I need to visit! So hot for this!
Moldova: Another fave. I so wanted them to do great this year and fuck yes they didn't disappoint. It's a silly song but who gives, I like it. It got rap, it got dance, jungle, folk...It got traditional dancers, pom pom girls, breakdancers ... is there anything this song/video left out? Welcome to Moldova bishes! That's how they do!
Greece: This dude looks like this Albanian singer's (Gjesti) twin. They should collab. I love how European songs follow one line then...out of the sudden switch to some completely different nonsense. Lmao Is like a whole ass genre - Let's name it ADHD music.
Switzerland: Really a good song. Not an Eurovision song but def. good.
Germany: I don't know how this is Germany, but here we are. The most Eurovision song eVah in this edition. Is like textbook Eurovision. Also Eleni gonna be pissed cos this is a "rip off" lol On this list cos we need this for the final show.
Italy: This should win. I love it. Is very Italian, original,so lovely, make feel good and ofc danceable. Video it doesn't do justice. Live this is magic. Summers in Capri would feel so good w this sound. Also, just for the fact that is the only song that really represents its country's sound in the competition.
Romania: She said Choke Me and I was like YES lol
