Maybe, leave Britney alone?

If you google Britney Spears these days, past the usual official social media accounts all you'll find about her is news related to the conservatorship or FreeBritney movement. By now you should've heard about the Framing Britney Spears which is classified as a Documentary but is more like VH1 "Where Are they Now". Pretty much, to kind of sum it up; some Britney's fans, have decided that she doesn't  need the conservatorship anymore, that she's being kept against her will, and that this is all due to her father who is bad, bad, bad. Why is he bad? Well, at some point someone says that he said Britney was going to buy him a boat. You know, kind of meaning that he was/is after the money, her money. Surprisingly, they don't show that clip from Diane Sawyer interview in which Britney herself, tells that her father after her parents divorced didn't move from their old home, but her mother moved into a mansion. WELL! It doesn't fit the narrative so...there.

There's no other info in this documentary about why her father is baaaaad. He just is. Apparently he wasn't bad when he worked his ass off to pay for Britney's classes, auditions and trips to New York with her mother. He wasn't bad when he stepped in and helped her when everybody didn't do shit and almost let her die in front of the whole world. He saved her life, when everybody made jokes on tv, media scrutinized her every move, and people used her to gain fame and many other advantages. Remember that MTV performance? Her fans call it iconic, MTV used it for the views and press, her management team/label for the money. But do you know what it was? Sad! That's all it was - disgustingly sad! It shows you how little this industry cares about the artists (and the fans as well). So, I think she saw that. She saw that no one gave a shit that she was performing 365/1 and people still asked for more. Since a kid she's been working non stop and the moment she wanted to take a break, get married, have kids, people didn't give her no space, no break they kept ridiculing her. And it hit her hard, and once you're there is difficult to get back on your feet without no help. Her father, took charge and the fact that she is healthier today than years ago it shows that he did a great job. So why all the hate? Because someone needs info to feed her podcast? Imagine having people that don't know you personally, that you never met, let alone helped you or ---insert a long list of things here - start a movement to "free" you. Free from what? Do you think you know better than her family what's best for her? I'm not taking sides. Like everyone else I don't know her real story. We don't know what's happening behind closed doors and we don't need to know. These are private matters and have nothing to do with her as an entertainer. That's what I'm trying to say here. These cases take time, and putting her private life once again in the spotlight it's definitely not helping if anything it will make things more complicated. And let's say it happens. Her father says fuck it! You're free. What if it happens again? What if she has another episode and is worse than the first time? What if she dies? Then what the fuck are all these people gonna say? Because that's the thing with mental health, it can be very unpredictable. So bish what are you gonna do? Exactly! Another post, another podcast, another documentary... just another person pretending to care BUT using Britney's persona to profit from her. Just like everyone else. You are not a fan. This woman has been saying to leave her the fuck alone since forever, so maybe this time if you really want to free Britney do leave her the fuck alone.
